How we help

Support shaped around each person

Every person is different, so our support is too. We start by getting to know the individual — their goals, routines and what matters to them — and build from there.

Whether support is needed, we work alongside young people, individuals and families to help them find their feet and stay connected.

Mentoring

Sometimes what a young person needs most is just someone reliable in their corner. Not another program, just a person who shows up, week after week.

We get to know each young person properly before anything else. From there, it's about building a relationship they can actually trust, so they feel comfortable enough to open up, try new things and grow at their own pace. This can look like:

  • Building confidence and social skills
  • Settling into everyday routines
  • Working through emotions and decisions
  • Staying engaged with school
  • Chasing personal goals
  • Picking up hobbies and getting out into the community

There's no fixed formula. Just a steady, familiar face helping a young person find their feet.

Respite Care

Looking after someone you love takes a lot out of you, and everyone needs a proper break sometimes.

Respite gives you that time to rest, catch up on appointments, or just breathe, while your loved one is well looked after. This can include:

  • Company and support at home
  • Day, evening or overnight care
  • Weekend and school holiday support
  • Help with daily routines
  • Outings and activities
  • Good company and supervision

We shape it around them, their routine, their preferences and what feels normal for them.

Community Access & Social Outings

Getting out and staying connected makes a real difference. We help people take part in whatever they genuinely enjoy, and confidence often follows.

Sometimes it's a quiet coffee, sometimes it's something completely new. Whatever they're interested in, we're happy to work with them. This can include:

  • Shopping trips
  • Cafés, restaurants and movies
  • Walks, parks and the outdoors
  • Gym, swimming and sport
  • Libraries and community centres
  • Local events
  • Time with friends and family
  • New places and new interests

Transport Support

Not being able to get somewhere shouldn't stand in the way.

We offer safe, dependable transport to help people get where they need to go, often alongside mentoring, respite or community access. This can include:

  • School runs
  • Appointments
  • Work, education or training
  • Sport and recreation
  • Shopping and errands
  • Visiting family and friends
  • Community programs and events

We can also help build the confidence to use public transport and get around more independently over time.
